How to Install Sibelius' Scorch Plug-in for Firefox

1. you will see this on your page if you do not have the plug-in installed
2. Click on the picture of the green puzzle piece to download plugin
   
3. Click the "Manual Install" button:
4. The Siblius plugin download page should now be open. If not, click this link: Get Sibelius Plugin
5. select your operating system, enter your email address and click "Next"
   
6. Select a location (HTTP 1 will do fine) and click the "Download" button
   
7. You will now see the directions for installing Scorch for Firefox:
   

   NOTE: if you see the message at the top of the web page stating that Firefox prevented the site from opening a popup
   

   Click the "Options" button and select "Allow popups for www.sibelius.com
   

   If the download does not begin, you will need to refresh the page (ctrl + R) (click "OK" if needed to make the page refresh). You should now see a popup box to save the Scorch installation file
   

8. click "Save File" to save the file. Select the location to save the installation program to (ie: your computer's desktop)
9. when the download is finished, Firefox may display the "Downloads" window to you.
   

   To run the program from here, you can simply click "Open" next to the "InstallScorch.exe" file
   OR
   go to your Desktop (or folder where you saved the installScorch.exe file) and double click the file to run it.

10. Once the installation begins, you MUST click the "Manually Choose Browser Directory" checkbox to get it properly installed for Firefox, then click the "Next >" button.
    
11. Click the "I Agree" button
12. You must then select the Plug-In folder for Firefox. The default installtion location is: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\plugins
    
    click the "OK" button once you have the plugins folder selected
13. Click the "Finish" button to finalize your installation

    NOTE: You may need to restart Firefox or possibly reboot to begin viewing sheetmusic in your browser.
